Questions to Consider
 Your time is important. Maximizing your appointment time and minimizing your waiting time is our focus.YOUR START TREATMENT APPOINTMENT: The appointment when you get your braces usually takes from 90 minutes to 2 hours. An important part of this appointment is the first 20 to 30 minutes when you’ll learn techniques to be successful with your orthodontic treatment such as oral hygiene, food choices, elastic wear and retainers. ADJUSTMENT APPOINTMENTS: Appointments are generally scheduled 4 to 12 weeks apart in order to give your teeth time to move. This optimizes our treatment results and gives you the smile you desire in as few appointments as possible. Adjustment appointments usually take 30 to 40 minutes. Patients are seen by appointment. We make every effort to be on time for our patients and ask that you extend the same courtesy to us. If you cannot keep an appointment, please give us at least 48 hours' notice. TOOTH TRAUMA, APPLIANCE CONCERNS OR DISCOMFORT: Orthodontic emergencies are very rare. If you have a loose bracket or a poking wire, please call our office for assistance. If you are in pain or have had an accident, please call our office immediately. After patient hours, the telephone message will give you instructions on contacting Dr. Ebert or one of our experienced orthodontic clinical team members. |
